We want everyone to be able to use this site. It is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. If anything on it is hard to use, call or text us at (805) 698-9745 and we will get you the information another way.
How the site is built
- Every page works with a keyboard, and the focus outline stays visible.
- Text and buttons meet the AA contrast ratios, and buttons are at least 44 pixels tall on phones.
- Every job photo has a written description.
- Form fields have visible labels, and if something you type can’t be used, the message says why in words.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations are turned off and every step shows as plain text.
- Anything that moves on its own, such as the window scene at the top of the home page and the drawings in the guides, has a Pause button.
- Nothing flashes, and no sound plays.
- Pages fit a 320-pixel-wide phone and 200 percent zoom without sideways scrolling, and pinch zoom is never turned off.
- The articles, the timing, the phone number and the reviews all work with JavaScript turned off.
- Every page is in English and Spanish.
- There is no add-on accessibility widget; the fixes are built into the site itself.
How it was tested
On October 12, 2026, every page was scanned with the axe accessibility checker at phone and desktop widths, with no failures found. Pages were also checked with a keyboard alone, at 200 percent zoom and at 320 pixels wide, and the main pages were scored with Google Lighthouse. It has not yet been tested by a person using a screen reader; that test is next.
Known limits
- The floor designer on the home page is a drawing. Its nine patterns and nine tones are buttons with names, and the color matching and new floors guides describe them in words.
- Reviews are quoted word for word from Google, including the reviewers’ own spelling.
- There is no email address for reports yet. Call or text instead.
